Extraction of Natural Pectin from Sugar Beet Pulp and Sugar Cane Pulp
Sugar beets (as well as sugar cane), after the process of sugar obtaining, are left as a large amount of waste. To utilise this waste, the pulp can be processed into pectin. However, there are many chemical specifications and requirements of pectin in different industries. That’s why we lunch the project to research and control the production in order to maximise the utilisation.
